and i still love ricky gervais

iTunes gave me a little present this evening as I sat down to get some web work done. A new Ricky Gervais Podcast. I was instantly reminded of why I love to podcast myself and why I think our Television Zombies podcast is so good. Laughter. We laugh and laugh and this is rad.

This week's show is late, as is everything for me this week. But it is seriously good. It will be available Friday morning. Jeff and I have really built something rad with Television Zombies and I haven't blogged about this much. Not only is it a podcast, but it is turning into a really cool little site/blog. Not only are Jeff, Jake and I blogging over there, but now we have Jonah and Chris writing. I didn't know so many people in my circle of friends had the same taste in television as Jeff and I do. From their wonderful work on the blog to the listeners' emails that we have been getting, I think we have struck a cord with people. There are folks out there who want to watch good TV and not mindless cops, doctor or lawyer shows!

Anyway... I like it when new projects get a life of their own and succeed. I can see myself doing this project for years to come and this is comforting. I think some day I would like to talk for a living, into a microphone, in a dark room, laughing with my friends.

Anyway, check out the writing on Television Zombies and also search iTunes for Ricky Gervais.
