I have hardly mentioned the biggest thing that I have been getting ready for over the past month! Crafty Bastards is nearly here and I am not even close to ready. I keep starting new projects and not getting to the real meat of the work. Crafty is seriously my favorite day of the whole year, so do come out and see me! This year's Crafty Bastards Arts and Crafts Fair is Sunday, September 30, 2007, 10am-5pm at the Marie Reed Learning Center at 18th & Wyoming in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. Same location as before, I even have the same spot, booth 27!

I am working on so many new things, it is crazy. I started Zombie Plague Xmas tree ornaments last night. I am sewing them by hand, which is relaxing. They are a little wonky because this is the first time I ever tried to sew anything by hand, though. I am also working on lots and lots of packs of Zombie Plague Holiday Cards, zombie underwear and some secret designs that I will reveal at Crafty (think geeks and bunnies and boats).

My sister is hard at work on these amazing "I heart my TV Friends" bags. This is truly a collaborative project! They feature art prints of characters from The Office and Lost by the amazing Elloh. These bags are super limited, as we are only making 20 of them!

I went to the Crafty Vendor party last night and saw all my crafty friends and this is always energizing. I love knowing people who make things. They are my favorite types of people, people who spend time thinking and doing and creating.
