3 days away!
I am the Washington CityPaper's Craftiest Bastard of the week! Whoohoo!
I am slowly getting things crossed off my list despite Jeff having to work late and early and my own work on top of it! I used my last gocco screen to silk screen this new design onto about 15 shirts. The next round of this design will have a funny zombie, but I just couldn't wait to get this on shirts! I also screened it on a rad nurse's uniform skirt (sized 6).

Then, last night, Jeff and I finished the new Craft Mutiny! website. Not much content on there yet, but it is a start and it has a nice blog where the mutiny gals and I will team blog. Check it out!
Today, as the girls napped, I packed up all my silkscreened cards and counted them. I have no idea how much to sell cards for, though!

I find that the only way to get anything done is to maintain momentum and a postive attitude. This morning, the girls were kranky and screamy, so I set about getting them to nap and did some work (real paid work), and then had time to package the cards. Here's hoping the next 2 days go as well as this morning!
Some answers to questions I have gotten lately. The blog book was printed by ComixPress. I seleted posts, had my friend, Lisa edit it and then Jeff laid it out in Indesign. It was a lot of work! Comixpress will print on demand a trade paperback or even a regular comic book. Their prices are good and their work looks great. Second question. The monster purses will be at Crafty Bastards, some will go up in the shop if we don't sell them all. Small/med ones are $12 and bigs ones are $15. Those are my answers! If we tell ya something different on Sunday, remind me of this post. :)

absolutely no worries, mama!
it's a hectic life we lead...
whenever you have time is fine. we're dragging our feet on gift baskets and retail space right now so there is still no hurry.
just started an etsy store for my new drug, knitting.
that place is *insane*. so many of the sellers undervalue their crafts. the end product ends up being sold for less than the cost of the raw materials. craziness! i may never sell a thing, but i won't sell myself short. ;)
